about

this album served as a diary and sonic almanac for the year. i charged myself with producing one song a month for the project. over the course of the year, i experienced heartbreak, hopefulness, new hobbies and goals and injury that resulted in temporary hearing loss. the uneven ebbs and flows of this album, sometimes pretty and hopeful while at other times melancholy or discordant, i think at the very least accurately describes that experience.
